I’m Lou, and welcome to Devery Art!

Art is my happy place, my earliest memories are of creating masterpieces at the kitchen table.

Over the years my style and mediums have changed and evolved from complex and detailed drawings which were featured in exhibitions at the Shearer’s Arms Gallery, to blind contour drawings. My collection and first solo exhibition ‘Common People’, exhibited at Platform Arts, formally known as Courthouse Youth Arts, showed a range of blind contour works in acrylic paint, copper leaf, fine line and posca pen.

I’m currently enjoying painting with vibrant pops of colour and clashing patterns with a focus on florals in my home studio in Highton, Geelong.

I have two production assistants, Django & Winston, who enjoy the long days lounging in the sunlight of my studio.

When I’m not painting I love spending time with my fiancé Sam, walking our dogs, cooking and being with friends and family.
